A plan for every region.
Avoiding Regional Security 0.0
Regional Security 0.0—categorized here as a region experiencing significant societal insecurity—is a region experiencing a variety of societal or environmental degradations that limit the population’s ability to enjoy life to the fullest. However, it is most significantly characterized by the presence and domination of unethical organizations like organized crime.
While the multitude of economic, social, and environmental crises regions face are certainly significant and need to be solved, these problems are rather simple compared to solving the problem of a society already being dominated by unethical organizations. The best solution is to secure regions before the problem of unethical influence becomes overpowering.
Regions experiencing Regional Security 0.0 are not completely lost, but residents may find that migrating away from those regions could be a quicker path to a better life than waiting for unethical influences to wane and the good life to be experienced. Nevertheless, if unethical influence dominates your region, the other option is to be a team player and support your governors.
Building Regional Security 1.0
Regional Security 1.0—categorized here as a region experiencing a comfortable state of societal security—is a region that may be experiencing a variety of societal or environmental concerns but those concerns are being properly addressed such that the population is able to enjoy life to the fullest. Three key strategies regions can implement to quickly and sufficiently secure their region are: Education, Engagement, and Essentials.
EDUCATION: The first pillar of improving regional security is to implement ongoing communication strategies (likely via social media channels) that guarantee the entire population will be kept up-to-date on the latest security issues facing their region.
ENGAGEMENT: The second pillar of improving regional security is to engage everyone in law enforcement efforts via mandatory monthly surveys (distributed via government website) that allow the population to provide tips on any law-breaking activities.
ESSENTIALS: The third pillar of improving regional security is to help meet all citizens’ basic needs. This can be done most efficiently by innovating to find ways to provide a basic weekly income for all citizens so they can pay for necessary items.
Planning Regional Security 2.0
Regional Security 2.0—categorized here as a region entirely designed for societal security—is a region that has designed very fun and secure human settlements. These settlements could reflect largely self-sufficient neighborhood units or largely self-sufficient towns or cities. However, it can also involve less favorable regions partnering with more desirable regions to develop fun, secure settlements abroad rather than investing so heavily in developing their less favorable home locations.
SELF-SUFFICIENCY: The first pillar of creating regions entirely oriented for fun and security is developing only smartly designed, largely self-sufficient neighborhoods, towns, and cities that are educational and not vulnerable to global supply chain disruptions.
LOCATION: The second pillar of creating regions entirely oriented for fun and security is to choose the best locations for enjoying life, such as beachfronts, riverfronts, and lakefronts, which offer the world’s most desirable environments worth developing.
RESIDENTIAL CRUISE SHIPS: The third pillar of creating regions entirely oriented for fun and security is looking beyond just developing one location by choosing to also invest in residential cruise ships that provide a globally mobile lifestyle for citizens.
